The standards that
govern every consultation.
Every patient who walks into an Easya Care Point deserves the same quality of care as a registered outpatient clinic. This page describes how we ensure that — clinically, legally, and operationally.
Last updated: July 2026
Every consultation follows
the same clinical protocol.
Easya is not a lesser alternative to clinical care. Every consultation at an Easya Care Point follows SOP-001 — our clinical operations protocol — which mirrors the structured process of a registered outpatient clinic: patient registration, informed consent, vitals recording by trained Easya staff, doctor consultation, electronic prescription, and documented follow-up or referral.
Medical Director oversight. All clinical protocols are designed, reviewed, and audited by our Medical Director. Abnormal consultation patterns are flagged and investigated within 48 hours.
Provider credentialing. Every doctor consulting on the Easya platform holds an active Medical and Dental Council (MDC) licence. Credentials are verified before onboarding and monitored continuously. Any provider whose licence lapses is immediately suspended from the platform pending review.
Prescriptions. All prescriptions are issued electronically and dispensed only by the licensed pharmacist on-site at the Care Point. No prescription leaves the consultation without documentation.
Your health records
belong to you.
Easya operates in compliance with the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843). All health data collected through the platform is treated as sensitive personal data under the Act and handled accordingly.
What we collect. Patient name, contact details, date of birth, and clinical information (symptoms, diagnosis, prescriptions, referrals). Nothing beyond what is necessary for your care.
How it is used. Your data is used solely to facilitate your clinical care. It is accessible only to the treating provider and to you. It is not shared with any third party without your explicit consent — except where required by Ghanaian law (for example, notifiable diseases under the Ghana Health Service Act).
Your rights under Act 843. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your records at any time. Contact us at privacy@easya.health.
What you are entitled to —
every time, without asking.
These are not aspirations. They are commitments that apply to every patient at every Easya Care Point, every time.
- To be seen by a licensed, credentialed doctor with an active MDC licence
- To give or withhold informed consent before any examination or procedure
- To access your complete health record at any time, free of charge
- To request a second opinion or referral at any point during your care
- To complete confidentiality — your consultation is private
- To have your records corrected if they contain errors
- To withdraw consent and request deletion of your personal data
- To make a complaint and receive a formal written response
Your data is protected
at every step.
Consultation data and health records are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to patient records is restricted by role: the treating provider can access only the records of patients they have consulted; Easya operational staff do not have access to consultation content.
Remote consultations take place over an encrypted connection. Documentation is limited to the structured clinical record — symptoms, diagnosis, prescription, and referral. No more.
Our infrastructure uses enterprise-grade cloud hosting with strict access controls and audit logs on all data access events. We conduct regular internal security reviews.
We do not sell, share, or trade patient data under any circumstances.
Operating within Ghana's
regulated healthcare framework.
Easya is built to operate within — not around — Ghana's healthcare and data regulatory framework. The standards below govern how we operate.
A clear, named route
for every concern.
If you have a concern about a consultation, a provider, your data, or any aspect of your experience with Easya, you deserve a serious and prompt response.
Contact our Medical Director directly: governance@easya.health
We acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and provide a full written response within 14 working days. Where a complaint involves a provider, that provider is notified and may be suspended from the platform pending investigation.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana for clinical complaints.
For data and privacy complaints, you may contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
